Information we collect

We collect only information reasonably needed to operate and support the service:

• Account information: your email address, authentication identifiers, session information, credit balances, and credit-ledger activity.
• Billing information: subscription status, purchase and invoice identifiers, billing address, and payment status. Stripe processes payment-card details; Edit Cafe does not store complete card numbers.
• Editing content: the visible Photoshop composite you submit, an optional Match reference image, Prompt text you provide, the generated result, and your selected template, resolution, and quality settings.
• Service information: job identifiers, processing status, error data, credit usage, and operational logs needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
• Network information: hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, timestamps, and device or software details.
• Support information: messages and other details you choose to send us.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts; export, process, and return edits; maintain credit balances; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; provide support; improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

AI processing and service providers

We disclose information to service providers only as needed to provide the service. These providers include Vercel for application hosting, Supabase for authentication, database, and temporary storage, email infrastructure for one-time sign-in codes, and an AI processing provider for image generation. Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, taxes, invoices, refunds, and billing-account management.

Production generation uses a paid AI processing service. Under the provider’s paid-service terms, submitted prompts, files, and responses are not used to improve its products. The provider may retain prompts and responses for a limited period to detect abuse, maintain safety and security, or satisfy legal obligations. Edit Cafe does not use customer images to train its own models.

Retention

We attempt to delete submitted source and Match reference images promptly after an edit succeeds, fails, or is canceled. An upload that is never attached to a job becomes eligible for cleanup after one hour. We retain limited deletion tracking through the upload link’s validity period so a delayed upload can also be removed.

Generated results, Prompt text, and generation-job records normally become eligible for deletion after approximately 24 hours and are removed during the next daily cleanup. Accordingly, 24 hours is a logical expiry rather than a guaranteed physical maximum. If a storage provider deletion fails, we retain the minimum private record needed to retry it until deletion succeeds.

Provider security or abuse-prevention logs may follow a separate retention schedule. Account, credit-ledger, support, and compliance records may remain while your account is active or as reasonably needed for operations, dispute prevention, security, tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Deleting your account removes account access and operational account data immediately. Image removal is attempted immediately, and any failed residual deletion continues privately until it succeeds. Stripe and legally required financial records may be retained for their required periods.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, private storage, short-lived signed URLs, encrypted transport, and service providers designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. You can delete your account from the account page or email support@antsdesk.com. We may verify your identity before completing a request, and we may retain information when permitted or required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Age requirement, changes, and contact

Edit Cafe is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. Questions may be sent to support@antsdesk.com.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. You are responsible for the email account used to sign in, for protecting access to one-time codes and sessions, and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

The service

Edit Cafe exports the visible Photoshop composite, applies the selected AI-assisted treatment, and returns a generated result as a new layer. Features, templates, models, availability, and processing times may change. The plugin requires compatible Adobe Photoshop software and an Adobe environment that supports the plugin. Adobe is a third party and does not control Edit Cafe.

Your content and generated results

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Edit Cafe and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transform, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.

AI results can vary, may contain errors or unexpected details, and may resemble outputs generated for others. Review each result before relying on, publishing, or distributing it. You are responsible for your use of submitted content and generated results.

Acceptable use

You may not use Edit Cafe to:

• violate law or another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights;
• submit content you do not have permission to process;
• create or distribute unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or exploitative content;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or usage controls;
• reverse engineer or extract protected components except where law permits; or
• use the service to develop or train a competing model or service.

Credits and pricing

New accounts currently receive 35 signup credits. Each edit’s cost depends on its quality and resolution and is shown before you apply it. Subscription credits reset monthly; top-up credits remain across that reset. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable except where required by law. Technical generation failures automatically refund the credits charged for that job.

Subscription credits expire when the subscription ends. Purchased top-up credits remain until used or the account is deleted. Top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law. Technical generation failures refund credits, not the underlying subscription fee.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically monthly or annually until canceled. Annual plans are billed once per year but release their stated allowance monthly. Prices are in U.S. dollars, and applicable taxes are added at checkout. You authorize Stripe to charge your saved payment method for recurring fees, taxes, and purchases you approve.

Upgrades take effect immediately and may produce a prorated charge; Edit Cafe grants only the difference between the old and new monthly allowances. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period. You can manage payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation from the Stripe billing portal linked on your account page. Failed renewals do not grant a new allowance. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Our intellectual property

Edit Cafe, its software, interface, templates, prompts, branding, and related materials are owned by Edit Cafe or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant rights to them beyond the limited right to use the service as intended.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, legal requirement, nonpayment after paid services launch, or harm to the service or others. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edit Cafe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific creative results. We do not guarantee that generated output will satisfy professional, legal, or platform requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edit Cafe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business, or opportunities. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Edit Cafe against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your unlawful or unauthorized use of the service, or your material violation of these Terms.

Governing law and changes

California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update the Terms as the service changes. The updated version applies from the effective date posted above; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
